The Bubble

It’s kind of funny?

It took us 3 nights to watch it.

The colour correction was very dark.

Harry Trevaldwyn is a delight.

The TikTok scenes were great.

The movie is about making a movie in a pandemic, and how hard it is. The movie they’re making doesn’t go well.

The very end scene is the producers and director questioning whether they ‘have enough for a cut’. They decide ‘at least we tried to make a movie’. Then they pat themselves on the backs saying, ‘we made something for everyone in these trying times’.

The movie — as a whole — is the punchline.

This must be what Judd Apatow films are like. Funny improv edited together so they’re coherent enough to picture lock.
