You don’t have the space for writing or reading.
It is night.
The night is for stillness.
Let us be still.It is night after a long day.
What has been done has been done;
what has not been done has not been done;
let it be.The night is dark.
Let our fears of the darkness of the world and of our own lives, rest.The night is quiet.
Let the quietness of peace enfold us,
all dear to us,
and all who have no peace.The night heralds the dawn.
Let us look expectantly to a new day,
new joys,
new possibilities.
Some couples sleep at the same time. Some don't.
It's encouraging to show your partner it's time to sleep. People like doing the same things together, so they'll agree to do something if you do it too.
By showing your partner it's time to sleep you're checking all the right boxes at the right times; happy partner, thinking clearly, positive outcomes, reaping what you sow, thinking ahead.
I won't however, sleep for me and wake for you. I don't know what's best for me, so I'll go to bed late. Then I'll find it hard to wake, be tired, not thinking straight.
It's easier to know what's best for you.
I'll sleep for you, so you know it's time to sleep. And I'll wake for me, with the extra time to keep.
It is naïve to think you can go without.
You are a fool to think you are better than sleep.
It is inexperienced to go without sleep. Like a child who never learns.
How can you interact if you don’t have good sleep? Even your dreams won’t interact with you.
When food comes out of the oven piping hot, it burns your taste buds. Then you can’t taste very well for a while.
When internet content comes newest and latest, it diminishes your ability to discern between high and low quality content. You can’t tell what’s actually good for you for a while.
All you focus on is new new new, when you should really be focusing on what matters.
Don’t burn your tongue, wait for it to cool down for a bit.
Internet friends are much the same as normal friends; some you might catch up with daily, some you may catch up with every few weeks or months.
Currently I’m not catching up with friends very frequently. And that’s okay.
Create boundaries for your internet friends; the YouTubers, bloggers, Instagrammers, Tweeters, Redditors, newsletter writers.
Every now and then we’ll have a big long catch up, and talk about everything that’s been happening.
Until then, see you on the boundary line.
Clears your head.
This is all you need to do for this moment.
Humbles your ego.
You aren’t bigger than anything; even the wind.
You walked this far, now you need to walk back.
Just relax, no more, no less.
Take a break.
Have a rest.
Siesta. Relax. Decompress. Enjoy.
Your week has been wonderful.
You’ve talked to people. You’ve made people happy. You’ve learned. You’ve progressed.
And it was very good.
Remember that you’ve participated in this week.
This wonderful week is yours. A trophy to take home. A medal to wear.
Wear it proud. Tell the people, ‘I’ve completed the week, and so have you!’
The next one will come, it may be hard, there may be strife, there will be mountains to climb.
You’re doing so good!
Keep at it.
You’re here. You exist.
You have thoughts.
You have feelings.
You have emotions.
It’s okay to be tired.
It’s okay for the week to feel like a lot.
I know it’s been tough.
It’s okay.
You’ve got this.
We’re gonna make it.
Look at you, you are GOOD.
You are GREAT.
You’ve woken up this morning.
You’re telling yourself “yeah, I can DO THIS today.”
Give yourself some PRAISE.
You’re out here in the world trying to get things DONE.
You are absolutely AMAZING.
